Punjab Launches Tenant and Employees Registration and Tourist Facilitation Apps

Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar, has launched the ‘Tenant and Private Employees Registration’ and ‘Tourist Facilitation’ applications.

Both applications have been jointly developed by the IT Wing of Punjab Police and Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB)

According to details, the Tenant and Private Employees Registration app will inform the employer with the security record of the tenet and employee while Tourist Facilitation app will warn the tourists if their host holds any criminal record.

While addressing the launch ceremony, CM Punjab said that the incumbent provincial government will launch more applications to improve the performance of the Punjab Police.

He added that the Punjab government is trying its best to provide justice to people at the grassroots level.

IG Punjab, Inam Ghani, said that effective use of information technology is key to modern policing, adding that the development of applications for reconciling the working system of police to modern lines should be continued.
